Region & Bitrate
The two things that decide how your channel sounds: where its voice server sits, and how much of everyone's connection it asks for.
- Press ( 🌍 Region ) on your channel's panel, or type
/voice region— both open the same screen. - Leave the region on Automatic unless everybody is in the same part of the world; it follows the people in the channel.
- A higher bitrate sounds better and asks more of everyone's connection. The steps past 96 kbps are offered only on servers with boosts, and Generator default hands the choice back.
Channel Status
The status is the line Discord shows under your channel's name, press ( 📣 Status ) to set it.
- Type what is happening in your channel and press
submit. - It stays until you change it, submit an empty status to clear it.

Transfer Channel
( 🔀 Transfer ) button allows you to transfer channel ownership

⚠️ Are you sure?
the previous owner will fully lose control over the transferred channel.
Looking for Members
( 🔎 LFM ) button, a room with seats left in it can put itself on the server's board. You write one line about who you are after; the rest the bot reads off the channel:
Who is hostingWhat they are playingHow many are in, and how many fit
It is the one button a generator does not start with — there is nowhere to post until an admin picks a channel for it. It takes itself down when the room fills up or empties, so nobody is left answering an advert for a party that has moved on.
Your channel — where the panel is, and where you press it
#looking-for-members — the board an admin picked, where the post lands
Claim Channel
( 😈 Claim ) button will be enabled if the owner leaves the channel
for more than X default = 10 minutes. If the owner does not return, the claim button will be enabled.
If the owner returns or clicks the claim button, ownership will return to them!
If the owner doesn't return, and someone else clicks on the claim button, they will have X minutes (default = 1) to claim the ownership.
If they don't claim within that time or if someone else steps in, the whole vote process will begin!
At the end of the vote, you will see the new owner's name and a link for the vote results.
Below is an example of how the link for the results looks like:
